Cell Phone Policy

Students may have cell phones at school but must follow the guidelines below:

  • Follow classroom expectations for cell phone use as directed by individual classroom teachers.  

  • Cell phones should be silenced and put away during class time, unless otherwise directed by the class room teacher.

  • Student cell phones may be turned on once you exit the building, for lunch, and/or after school

  • If a cell phone gets confiscated, the student may pick up their device from the office after school on their first offense.  Parent/guardians will be required to sign out the confiscated device in any other subsequent offenses. 

  • TJMS claims no responsibility for lost or stolen cell phones and other personal electronic devices.  TJMS will not participate in the investigation of lost of stolen electronic devices.  All electronic devices are brought at the risk of the individual.
